If You're In A Creative Rut

You know you must create content and push it out there but the creative block is stopping you. Here are just some things I do to get my juices flowing. But point is to just start and take action.
1. 20 – 30 Questions
Brainstorm as many questions or topics you think your audience is dying to know. Open a notebook or word and write them all out. Do not judge anything. The key here is to get quantity. After the exercise, come back to your list and pick out the gems – you’ll have found your new topic ideas.
2. Re-purpose your existing content
My personal favorite. It’s not just rewriting old content to fill in the blank spaces. Its an opportunity to either expand on an idea, come at it with a different angle or perceptive, or apply an idea to a different situation. The bulk of my creativity comes from here. For example, later on I can create a new blog that expands my lists and or how these exercises cater to a particular profession.
3. Free writing
I use this idea usually verbally to help with social skills before public speaking, going out, or networking. In verbal form, I rant for 2 min straight about whatever is in my head and try to free flow whatever is in my mind. The point is to be in a flow state. Same with writing your content. For 5 – 10 min, free write non stop then just like the question exercise pick and choose your gems to be your topics.
Hope these help!
